Twitter is for LOLs as well as the serious stuff, and it’s always nice when you stumble upon a gem of an account that ticks both ‘entertaining’ and ‘enlightening’ boxes.
So as a Friday treat, we did all the hard work for you: turning our attention to the fashion industry to come up with a list of top fashion Twitter accounts that are definitely worth a follow.
Not only do these guys give us the inside scoop on what’s going down in the fashion world, but it’s always served with a generous portion of wit, hilarity or downright absurdity. Enjoy!
1) Ray Siegel - @RaySiegel
She’s the Online Editor of CR Fashion Book and pretty hilarious to boot.

2) Cindi Leive - @cindi_leive
It's always good to have a peak into the upper fashion-clique, so Cindi Leive's account is full of REAL LIFE editor-in-chief kind of business.
3) Shiona Turini - @shionat
Stylist, Consultant and Contributing Editor The Cut, Shiona Turini’s Twitter feed is awash with Instagram updates that give us a sneak peek into life as fashion aficionado.
4) Danielle Bernstein - @WeWoreWhat
As a well-paid purveyor of the fashion world, Bernstein is THE blogger to watch. With a (very) successful blog-come-shop, We Wore What, has somewhat of a cult-status, what she says matters. Less of the funny, more of the money.
5) Man Repeller - @manrepeller
Leandra Medine’s ‘Man Repellar’ blog is all about putting a humorous twist on serious fashion, and her Twitter account follows suit - well worth a follow!

6) Derek Blasberg - @derekblasberg
Derek might be busy being a New York Times bestselling author, Vanity Fair's Our Man on the Street and a senior staffer of the Gagosian Gallery, but he’s always got a spare second for a Twitter wisecrack.
Just dropped my Blackberry. Cracked the screen. Which is almost as embarrassing as having a Blackberry in the first place.— Derek Blasberg (@DerekBlasberg) June 26, 2014
7) Kyle Anderson - @KyleEditor
Anyone who likes Ab Fab is good by us. Not only is Kyle the market & accessories director Marie Claire, he's a (self-confessed) fashion editor, consultant, stylist, model and style icon to boot.
8) Choupette Lagerfeld - @choupettesdiary
The parody Twitter account of Karl Lagerfeld’s cherished moggy. ‘Nuff said, really.
